Hello, it’s me. Been a while, sorry for that. This song is called Nothing Else Matters, a song about those early months with a little one. For us it was wonderful but everything around us felt chaotic, we were renovating a house and there just felt like there was too much to do all the time. I had to check in with myself a lot to remind myself that all those small jobs, and even the big jobs, they can wait. Just enjoy the special moments in a messy unfinished house. I promise I’m going to try and share as many of the songs I’ve written (that I like on here) I’m proud of them, and recording/releasing them feels unlikely right now. Saying that, I have music releases in the pipeline, things just take that bit longer nowadays so please be patient with me. Loads of love, and thanks for sticking with me. 💛

And she’s backkk. After a year of baby brain and not being able to think properly, I’ve actually started writing again. Wanted to share this one with you guys, it’s called Long Time. It’s about my journey through motherhood, looking back at my past life of and wanting it back but also not wanting it back at all. Feeling guilty because you just want one night, to breathe, to sing, to be the person that isn’t just a mum. Hope you like it. Xx
